***Schedule Subject To Change

* Midnight Mayhem is The Strip’s safe alternative to illegal street racing.  Now in its sixth year, Midnight Mayhem is open to any licensed driver with proof of insurance (minors must present a signed parental consent form, available by calling 632-8213).  Open to any street-legal car or motorcycle.  Alcohol is not allowed and beer is not sold at the track during Midnight Mayhem. Each Midnight Mayhem features car shows, midway attractions and DJs. For 2006, Midnight Mayhem has been expanded from four to five hours, and begins earlier to allow local teens under curfew to participate.

Anti-Freeze Policy
Please be advised that anti-freeze and/or any other coolant additive (i.e. "Water Wetter") will not be permitted in race cars that compete at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Anti-freeze only will be permitted in street-legal, licensed and insured vehicles that are driven to the track to participate in street-legal classes. Any participant (other than street-legal racers) found to be using anything other than water in their cooling system will be disqualified from the event and face loss of competition privileges. This is a zero-tolerance policy. LVMS tech inspectors will be making random checks of all participating classes for the remainder of the 2006 season.

If you would like to join The Strip's news list, please send your e-mail address to John Bisci at jbisci@lvms.com. You will receive all news, results, points and schedule changes the same time it is distributed to the media.

If you need information on The Strip, please go to The Strip's section on the main page of LVMS.com. The entire 2008 schedule always will be posted in one of the first three items. Please do not click on the buttons at the left side of the web page - each entry is limited to a low number of characters and we cannot include all pertinent information in those small entry boxes. If you have a question, please e-mail John at jbisci@lvms.com.

If you cannot hear the announcers through the p.a. system's speakers, please tune your radio to 103.9 FM. The Strip employs a low-power FM transmitter to enhance its p.a. system.
